Adobe – Subscription Model driving growth in Digital Commerce and Programmatic Marketing

Adobe, once known for its creative products like Photoshop, Acrobat and Flash has undergone a complete transformation from license based product shop to a fully Cloud subscription based product house. Also from a just creative product player, Adobe has sucesfully ventured into new areas of growth like Digital commerce, programmatic advertising and creative experiences through its core products like Adobe Experience Cloud powered by Artificial Intelligence product called Sensei. This whole transformation was successfully executed under the leadership of their CEO Shantanu Narayen and team. In 2012, their revenue share from subscription based were 40% and it increased to 80% + revenue share in 2018. Their digital marketing suite is a leader in the market underpinned by the strong focus on user experiences and analytics.
